Description
The Baum Ultra Fold 714XLT is a heavy-duty, air-feed tabletop paper folder built for high-volume folding in commercial print shops, corporate print departments, and binderies. The machine processes sheets from 3″ x 5″ up to 14″ x 20″ at speeds up to 35,000 sheets per hour, making it one of the fastest tabletop folders in its class. Paper weights up to 65 lb. cover are supported. Electrical requirements are 110 VAC, 60 Hz.
The 714XLT uses a continuous-feed, non-marking bottom-feed air system that separates sheets from the bottom of the stack for consistent, jam-resistant feeding across the full speed range. Folding rollers are toner-resistant and include built-in static dissipation, important for maintaining feed quality on digitally printed sheets. Automatic roller tensioning maintains consistent pressure across the fold rollers without manual adjustment. Sealed ball bearings throughout the machine eliminate the need for lubrication in regular maintenance.
Standard fold types include letter fold, half fold, Z-fold, double parallel, engineer fold, cross fold, and cross-letter fold. The 714XLT can be paired with the Baum second station for additional fold combinations on tandem jobs. Machine dimensions are 27″ high x 49″ long x 24.5″ wide, with a net weight of 310 lbs. The machine carries a 3-year parts warranty. It is an appropriate choice for shops with consistent daily folding volume across a range of letter, legal, and tabloid-size documents who need reliable high-speed folding with minimal maintenance requirements.
