GW 8000P

Description

The Graphic Whizard GW 8000P is a pneumatically-driven numbering machine capable of processing up to 8,000 sheets per hour, designed for high-volume sequential numbering applications including forms, tickets, checks, tags, and security documents. The pneumatic drive system provides fast, consistent impression force across all numbering positions on the sheet, and supports crash numbering on multi-part carbonless forms up to 10 parts. Electrical requirements are 120V/230V, 60/50Hz, 5.0 Amp, and the machine requires a compressed air source for the pneumatic drive.

The GW 8000P accommodates up to four numbering heads, with each head capable of placing up to 100 numbering positions per sheet. A 100-job memory allows operators to store complex numbering configurations for repeat jobs and retrieve them instantly. The heads rotate and lock in 360-degree increments, allowing numbering to be placed at any orientation on the sheet. Standard configuration ships with one numbering head and one accessory holder containing a 12 TPI perforating wheel and a score wheel, with the option to expand to four heads.

The machine also supports perforating and scoring operations via accessory holders mounted alongside the numbering heads, allowing combined numbering-and-perforating passes in a single run. Sheet size range is from 3″ wide x 5″ long up to 18″ wide x 18″ long, and stock weights from 12 lb. bond to 12-point board (45 to 250 gsm) are supported. The GW 8000P is designed for commercial printers, trade shops, and binderies with regular high-volume numbering production requirements.
