Description
The ODM Squeezer is a rotary press that provides the final bonding step in the ODM Casemaking Line, pressing the turned-in cover material firmly against the case boards to ensure full adhesive contact and a flat, tight bond. The machine accepts materials up to 18 inches in width by any length, accommodating the full range of case sizes supported by the standard ODM Casemaking Line. The pressure rollers are adjustable for both gap opening and compression force, allowing the operator to match the pressing parameters to the thickness and stiffness of the case material.
The Squeezer is equipped with a safety latch guard and a delivery table that receives the finished case as it exits the rollers. The rotary design allows for continuous, smooth operation: the operator feeds the freshly assembled case into the rollers, which draw it through and exit it onto the delivery table, ready for the casing-in step. Unlike a flat-platen press, the rotary configuration eliminates the dwell time required between each pressing cycle and allows for a faster production rate.
The Squeezer works in sequence with the Spreader, Slider, and Stomper as part of the complete ODM Casemaking Line. It requires no electrical power and operates entirely from the mechanical advantage of the roller system. This simplicity makes it reliable and low-maintenance in a production environment. For the ODM Casemaking XXL system, a wider 24-inch version of the Squeezer is available to accommodate larger-format cases.
