SP Bander

Description

The Graphic Whizard SP Bander is a compact, tabletop paper and poly banding system designed for bundling finished printed products, booklets, cards, forms, and other print items for packaging, shipping, or delivery. The machine applies a 30 mm (1.2 inch) wide paper or poly band around a stack of materials and seals it under adjustable tension, producing a clean, professional bundle. Banding speed is up to 20 pieces per minute.

The SP Bander accepts materials from 1.2 inches wide x 0.4 inches high (minimum) up to 18 inches wide x 7.9 inches high (maximum), covering a very broad range of product formats from small card bundles to full tabloid-size stack bundles. The operator can choose between manual operation, foot-pedal activation, or automatic sensor-driven banding mode, providing operational flexibility for different production environments and product types. Adjustable backstops, adjustable lag time, and adjustable band tension allow the machine to be fine-tuned for delicate or lightweight products.

The closed-arch design keeps the banding loop controlled during the sealing cycle, reducing misfeeds. A quick-release mechanism cuts and ejects the band in the event of a misfeed, minimizing downtime. Both paper and poly band rolls are available. An LCD display provides operational status and setting readout. Electrical requirements are 110-130V, 50/60Hz, 15A. The SP Bander is appropriate for any print operation that needs to bundle finished products consistently for retail, mailing, or delivery purposes.
