Description

The Graphic Whizard PT 33MFB is a multi-function booklet maker designed to combine stitching, folding, face trimming, creasing, and perforating in a single standalone machine. The unit operates as a two-bin system and produces up to 3,000 finished booklets per hour at 11″ x 8.5″ half-fold size, making it a high-throughput option for shops that require booklet production capability without configuring a multi-machine inline system. Heavy-duty stitching heads are included as standard, delivering reliable wire stitching on a wide range of paper weights.

The PT 33MFB’s primary distinction from a standard booklet maker is its inline crease and perf channel capability. The machine can apply crease and perforation operations as part of the booklet-making pass, and it supports partial perforation (T or L patterns) in a single run without requiring sheets to be pre-processed on a separate creasing machine. This reduces total job touches and turnaround time for booklets that include tear-off coupons, reply forms, or registration cards.

The machine’s patented Progressive Crease function calculates crease positions for pre-collated sheet sets and applies a graduated crease offset, producing a square-back booklet with minimal toner cracking even on heavy coated stocks. Face trimming is performed inline as part of the finished booklet sequence. The PT 33MFB is suited to digital print shops, in-plant print departments, and commercial printers who produce high booklet volume across a variety of configurations, including those with inline crease, perf, and partial perf requirements that would otherwise require separate pre-processing steps.
