HLA-2301

Description

The Drylam HLA-2301 is a fully automatic, high-speed roll laminator that combines automatic sheet feeding, laminating, and cutting in a single compact machine. It accommodates a maximum laminating width of 12.6 inches and operates at a speed of up to 68 inches per minute, making it suitable for short-to-medium run laminating in digital print shops, quick printers, and in-plant environments. Warm-up time is less than 5 minutes, allowing rapid deployment at the start of a production shift.

The HLA-2301 accepts paper weights up to 80 lb. cover and works with 1.5 mil, 3 mil, 5 mil, and 10 mil (one side only) film in both gloss and matte finishes. The multi-thickness feed tray holds up to 200 sheets and feeds them automatically through to the final sheet, minimizing operator supervision. Supported sheet sizes include 8.5″ x 5.5″, 8.5″ x 11″, 11″ x 17″, 12″ x 18″, and 13″ x 19″.

The machine provides two automatic trim options: flush-cut mode for precise borderless lamination with a micro-adjustable margin, and border-cut mode for sealed-edge encapsulation with a customizable 4-sided trim. Both single-sided and double-sided lamination are supported, and the machine’s automatic cut function eliminates the need for a secondary trimmer in most applications. The HLA-2301 is a practical, space-efficient solution for operations that need consistent, professional laminating output without the complexity or footprint of a larger pouch or wide-format laminating system.
