The Akiles Crimp@Coil is a heavy-duty electric coil crimper designed to cut and crimp both ends of a spiral coil binding simultaneously, significantly reducing the time required to finish coil-bound documents compared to manual crimping methods. The machine operates at 54 cycles per minute, and handles the full range of standard coil diameters from 6 mm up to 50 mm without requiring head swaps or tool changes between sizes. Simple 5-step setup allows the operator to change coil or sheet size settings in seconds.

The Crimp@Coil crimps books from 6 inches to 17 inches in length, covering the full range of standard document sizes from small memo pads to legal-length books. Foot-pedal operation keeps both hands free to position and hold the book during the crimping cycle, providing better control over the finished result. All metal construction ensures durability in production environments, and a large waste catcher collects the trimmed coil ends.
