Description

The Graphic Whizard PT 33SF is a heavy-duty stitch-and-fold booklet maker designed for both standalone use and inline integration with the PT 33PFA pile feeder and PT 33FT face trimmer. The machine stitches and folds pre-collated sets into finished saddle-stitched booklets at speeds of up to 2,000 booklets per hour. It uses heavy-duty Deluxe stitching heads with active clinchers and operates from 5 lb. wire spools rather than staple cartridges, significantly reducing the per-piece wire cost on longer runs.

The PT 33SF incorporates a powerful knife folding unit that produces crisp, consistent fold lines even on heavier cover stocks, making it well-suited for glossy or thick sheet booklets where roller folders may produce inconsistent results. Standard side and tail jogging is included, ensuring that each set is properly squared before it enters the stitching station, which reduces mis-stitches and crooked booklets throughout the run. Delivery is via a conveyor belt system, providing smooth, consistent output delivery.

The machine accepts booklet formats up to 11″ x 8.5″ (half fold) and runs on 110-130V, 50/60Hz, 15A power. The active clincher system provides secure wire clinching on the inside of the booklet, important for achieving a flat, professional spine. The PT 33SF is designed for digital print shops, commercial printers, and corporate print departments running regular booklet production volume. When paired with the PT 33PFA and PT 33FT, it forms the complete Graphic Whizard inline booklet-making system capable of producing up to 1,500 trimmed, finished booklets per hour from a single operator station.
