Description

The Graphic Whizard PT 33FT is a heavy-duty inline face trimmer designed to work in sequence with the PT 33SF stitch-and-fold unit as part of the Graphic Whizard Complete Booklet Maker In-line System. The PT 33FT receives stitched and folded booklets from the PT 33SF and trims the open face (foredge) of each booklet to a precise, clean finished size, producing a professional booklet with squared edges and consistent dimensions throughout the run.

The PT 33FT uses both a book press clamp and a face-trim clamp to hold the booklet firmly during cutting, preventing movement that would cause inconsistent trim or a ragged cut edge. This dual-clamp system is particularly important when trimming glossy or slippery cover stocks that tend to shift during the cutting stroke. The result is a clean, squared face edge that gives the finished booklet a professional appearance.

The face trimmer is controlled in sequence with the PT 33SF, receiving booklets automatically from the folder’s delivery conveyor without requiring manual transfer between stations. Electrical requirements are 110-130V, 50/60Hz, 15A. The PT 33FT can be used as a standalone face trimmer for other applications or removed from the inline configuration as needed. For shops producing saddle-stitched booklets, catalogs, programs, or manuals where a clean foredge trim is part of the finished product specification, the PT 33FT is the final step that brings the booklet to its finished quality standard.
