Description

The Graphic Whizard PT 33PFA is a high pile vacuum feeder with an integrated accumulator, designed to work in-line with the PT 33SF stitch-and-fold booklet maker as part of the Graphic Whizard Complete Booklet Maker In-line System. The unit accepts a high stack of pre-collated sheet sets, allows the operator to input the number of sheets per booklet via the touchpad control, and automatically accumulates each complete set before delivering it to the downstream PT 33SF unit for stitching and folding.

The PT 33PFA includes ultrasonic double-sheet detection as a standard feature. This sensor verifies that the correct number of sheets is present in each accumulated set before it is released to the stitching station, preventing mismatched booklets and reducing waste from incorrectly assembled sets. If the sensor detects an anomaly, the set is flagged or held before it reaches the stitcher, protecting output quality throughout the run.

The unit is compatible with stock sizes from small brochure formats up to 11″ x 8.5″ and runs at speeds matched to the PT 33SF’s production rate of up to 1,500 booklets per hour. Electrical requirements are 110-130V, 50/60Hz, 15A. The PT 33PFA transforms the booklet-making line from a manual-feed operation into a fully automatic one, allowing a single operator to oversee the full collating, stitching, and folding sequence. It is an essential component for shops that run consistent booklet volume and cannot afford to dedicate a second operator to manual set feeding.
