Product Description
The STERLING DIGIBINDER PLUS PUR has created a new standard for on demand perfect binding. Never has a perfect binder been able to create books of such quality with automatic set up at such an affordable price. It has set the bar high for all perfect binders to follow.
The DIGIBINDER PLUS PUR is completely self- adjusting. The pneumatic clamp and nipper adjust automatically. A silent compressor is included. Bind a thin book, then a thick book, without any adjustments whatsoever.
Bind two sheets up to 1-5/8 inches thick. The preparation of the spine is done with a brush and 8 notching pins that allows for the binding of offset stock, coated stock, and stock with oil based or wax based inks.
A single glue roller ensure an even glue application as does a heated, metering roller to smooth out the glue. The machine also includes a separate, side glue pot, allowing you to control the amount of side glue under a hinge score. Bind perfectly square backed books or pads.

Product Features
Auto Clamp
The clamp adjusts automatically between two sheets and 1-5/8 inches. Both the clamp and nipper are pneumatic, run by the supplied silent compressor.
8 Notching Pins
The Digibinder Plus PUR has a brush with 8 notching pins which notches and then cleans the dust from the spine to facilitate the binding of problems stocks.
Waste Removal
The Digibinder Plus PUR includes a vacuum waste removal system. This facilitate the ability to rough and notch deeper to maximize the strength of the book.
Glue Pots
The Digibinder Plus PUR has a Teflon coated main glue pot for easy glue cleanup as well as a seperate EVA side glue pot, allowing for greater side glue control for hinge covers.
Nipper Control
The distance that the nipper travels can be set to produce more square backed books. The dwell time can be set up to 3 seconds. The nipper height can also be adjusted.
Stand/Safety Cover
The Digibinder Plus PUR includes a stand on casters. The compressor and vacuum are installed in the stand. A safety cover disables the machine when in the open position.

What we like is the ease of operation and set up. The machine is what I call an open system, a machine where it is easy to see how it operates and easy to locate all the functions.
We’re getting 650 books per hour on The Coilmaster and we’re loving it. We have 250,000 books to do in the next two months and instead of dreading this job like we used to, we now say: Bring it on.
In-line coil forming and inserting is the most important feature for us on the Coilmaster. Buying and waiting for plastic coil proved to be a hardship. We can now optimize our production time, turning around multiple jobs more quickly.
