Description
The MBM Triumph 5560 is a fully automatic, programmable hydraulic paper cutter with a 21 5/8-inch cutting width, designed for high-volume commercial cutting applications requiring heavy-duty mechanical reliability and precise, repeatable results. The hydraulic blade and clamp drive delivers fully adjustable pressure between 1,900 and 3,800 PSI, providing clean cuts on thick stacks of paper, cardstock, board, and coated substrates. Cutting height is 3 3/4 inches, and the narrow cut minimum is 1 1/4 inches. Motor is rated at 2 HP.
The programmable back gauge control module features a 10-button keypad with LED display and stores 99 programs with up to 99 steps each. Digital measurement readout is accurate to 1/10 mm or 1/100 inch, available in both metric and imperial. Infrared safety light beams on the front table are standard, and the two-hand EASY CUT activating bars ensure safe operation.
The Triumph 5560 is VRCut-ready, meaning it can be connected to MBM’s VRCut PC software for automated, computer-generated cutting programs that are sent directly to the cutter’s control system. Power requirements are 115V, 60Hz on a dedicated 20-amp circuit. This cutter is appropriate for commercial printers, trade binderies, and print service providers with high daily cutting volumes who need the mechanical durability and cutting consistency of a hydraulic system in a 21-inch cutting width format.
