Triumph 5255

Description

The MBM Triumph 5255 is a fully automatic, programmable 20.38-inch paper cutter designed for medium-to-high-volume cutting in commercial print shops, binderies, and in-plant environments. Cutting width is 20 3/8 inches, cutting height is 3.15 inches, and the narrow cut minimum is 1 3/8 inches. The machine features an automatic hydraulic clamp and a power back gauge for hands-free programming and precise, repeatable cut positioning. German steel blade is standard.

The control system stores 99 programs with up to 99 steps each, and the digital measurement readout displays position accurate to 1/10 mm or 1/100 inch in both metric and imperial units. The 10-button keypad and LED display allow operators to enter cutting sequences quickly, and the stored programs eliminate re-measurement for repeat jobs. Power requirements are standard 115V, 60Hz.

The Triumph 5255 is compatible with the MBM VRCut workflow software, which allows cutting programs to be generated at a computer workstation and sent directly to the cutter’s control panel, eliminating manual program entry and reducing cut-to-cut setup time. Infrared safety light beams on the front table provide operator protection. The Triumph 5255 is appropriate for shops that cut daily across multiple job types and paper sizes, and where the ability to store and recall cutting programs produces measurable efficiency gains over semi-automatic cutting operations.
